Hello, I'm Rebecca

Portrait & Lifestyle Photographer

With the birth of each of my eight children, photography has slowly matured from a hobby to an appreciation and finally into a passion. Learning to capture those small beautiful moments in life that seem so fleeting has become imperative to creating my work. It seems as if, with the gift of each of my beautiful children, that the understanding of what time really is has been slowly impressed upon me. With each of my children I want to capture every moment of their lives as they grow from newborn to child to young adult and even beyond. I understand the desire as a mother, not just to have beautiful images of your children and family on the walls of your home, but the meaning and memory behind what those images become. With my photography I strive to give the same gift to you to hang on the walls of your own home. Not just beautiful images – but memories captured in time of those you hold closest to your heart.

Why am I a photographer?

I love photographing anything and everything having to do with life around me - from newborns to babies, graduating seniors, friends and family, weddings and yes, puppies too. The Lord has blessed me with an abundance of good gifts that gave me the passion and drive over a decade ago to pick up a camera and learn how to capture the beauty of what I see in His creation around me. I once worked full-time as a chemist through the birth of  my fourth child - but that is now a distant life to me. I absolutely love where God has placed me today raising and homeschooling our children, arm-in-arm with my amazing husband, keeping up a small hobby farm, breeding Labradors (because why not?), and photography. I am self taught for many reasons, but I strive every time I pick up my camera to grow and learn just a little more, hoping to glorify my God through my work and art.

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do,

do all to the glory of God.
